Spoken Word Artist - Poet - Author

In a world that becomes increasingly cutthroat, Matthew J. Keefe uses his words and voice to illuminate the world around him. A late bloomer in a sense, Matthew originally focused on drawing as his main creative outlet. 

That all changed at age fifteen when his father gifted him a copy of “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac. He soon found his passion growing in high school when several of his poems got published in the school newspaper in his hometown of Coventry, Rhode Island. It made sense that he took after his father, and he honed in his craft long after he graduated.

Inspirational Artist - Poet - Author

Chantel P. Walls is a Social Worker, Inspirational Artist and Youth Advocate whose passion, dedication, and compassion have earned her the reputation of 'catalyst of positive change within her community.' Above all, she is a service-centered mentor with a vision to motivate, uplift, and inspire the youth.

In 2018, Chantel authored her debut book of poetry and short stories, The Perfect Image of an Imperfect World. She also hold's a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Entrepreneurship.

Hip Hop Artist - Songwriter - Author

Defying all odds and surviving childhood cancer, Jerrell Grimes is set to win the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans and music lovers across the world. He is determined to become a household name for the effortless delivery of amazing urban Hip-Hop dexterity.

The Tampa, FL based independent recording artist doubles as an award winning author with 3 poetry books to his credit namely: True Emotions of a Man: The Boy, The Man & His God; Confessions of a Nice Guy; True Emotions of a Man: Rewind & Fast Forward. He is the first self-published black author in the 20th century history of Newport, Rhode Island, his hometown.

Poet - Author - Editor

 Christina is a 34 year old single mother. She was born and raised mostly in Rhode Island. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and being at the beach on hot, summer days.

She graduated from URI with Bachelor’s degrees in English and Sociology in 2007, followed by a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2010. Also, she completed the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S) program at Salve Regina University in 2016. Christina is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional (LCDP).

Poet - Author

Kendra Robertson has been around the block. Maybe not in terms of decades and decades, but through her experiences. Born with the bug to perform, she began her career at Café S.O.U.L. in Providence, Rhode Island. 

A natural talent with a microphone, Kendra started out shy and unsure if there was a call for her unique voice. There was. 

She thrived in the environment and outpouring of positive energy, enough that she returned to be the featured poet in April 2015. Drawing on life experiences for motivation....

Children's Author - Poet

 C.J is a multi-faceted author, with a focus in Children’s Literature, Poetry and Creative Writing. She discovered her passion for writing at the early age of 9 years old and continued to pursue writing throughout college. 

C.J released her debut  manuscript, My Big Natural Hair in 2017. She plans to continue writing Children’s Literature. The Rhode Island native uses her writing as a tool to empower,educate and inspire young minds from all walks of life.
